Happy Burns e'en Everyone.

Hope you are all safe and you haven't had too many terrible effects from the eowyn storm yesterday.

I have been out already this morning fixing things in the garden, but compared to others with roofs off etc., mine is nothing.

Please be very careful on the roads this morning. They will be strewn with bits of trees, full trees and all sorts.

Stay safe and help your neighbours if you can.

We were bracing ourselves in London for high winds and yellow rain (whatever that is) yesterday, but after a windy night we had a chilly but lovely day

Give some on those tv presenters an Oscar for overacting when trying to stand in the wind. and commiserations for those who suffered damge

A nice day again down here. Car washing and tidying the garden this afternoon. I have drinks with friends this evening, but not too many as I am working tomorrow with a 4.30 start

A lot calmer day today, many tress, fences, greenhouses and road closures in this neck of the woods. I have restored the garden best I can today, may need a few bits and pieces from the hardware store to fix the gate and stay.

Shopping completed, garden rearranged, now having a lemsip and a coffee (not in the same cup ) before contemplating attending the football later this afternoon
